Motivation is an issue for most of us. Occasionally we all run across someone who hasn’t missed a workout in 15 years (like the guy at work who has 245 sick days accumulated) and so on.
However, for real people, motivation is a real issue.
Motivation changes as we age also. The things that motivate me today (being leaner, healthier, stronger, live longer, illness free) aren’t the same things that mostivated me 15-20 years ago (women, bikinis, you know).
Try getting up 45 minutes earlier, 6:15 AM, and workout first thing. Working out after an overnight fast helps burn fat. If you have a full body workout you can use, try that. I have the Soloflex workouts from the late 80′s posted on the files section. I still use those and they’re great.
Take it one workout at a time. Set goals, maybe a certain look you want, a style of clothing you want to wear, a trip to Hawaii, the Caymans or the city pool.
Buy a good protein powder and have a shake when you’re done. Go get ‘em!
Also in the files section are some books listed that can help motivate you.
If none of that works then, “GET YOUR BACKSIDE OUT OF BED AND GET TO WORK SOLDIER!”
