Broadband Internet Providers

I was on vacation recently and had a chance to stay at a decent hotel where I had free high-speed web access from my room. At the time, I only had dial-up at home because there weren't that many broadband internet providers in my area and I just never bothered checking them out. But after experiencing that high-speed connection in my hotel, I can honestly say that I had no idea what I was missing! The difference between dial-up and high-speed is like the difference between a Pinto and a Ferrari. There's simply no other way to describe it! I couldn't believe how fast pages were loading or how quickly I was able to fire off my emails. I decided to find out as much about the broadband internet providers in my area as soon as I got back home.
As I mentioned before, there are only a few broadband internet providers where I live, so it wasn't that hard to gather information and compare prices, features, and services. The first thing I discovered was that prices have decreased considerably in the last few years. I remember when broadband internet providers first started advertising their services, it wasn't unusual to have to pay $50 or more per month. That was way more than I was willing to pay, and was one reason that I steered clear.

These days, however, most broadband internet providers are offering their services for less than $20 per month. That's not much more than I've been paying for dial-up. In addition, there's fierce competition among broadband internet providers right now, which of course benefits the customers. I routinely saw advertised deals that included free trial periods, special introductory rates, and free modem use. All of these extras sealed the deal for me. I decided to go for it.
Once I settled on the broadband internet provider that offered the lowest rate and the best features, I went ahead and got signed up. Let me tell you, it was one of the smartest things I've ever done! I often have to do work at home and my productivity has shot through the roof since getting high-speed access. I never have to wait for a connection, I'm never denied access, and I can complete each task much quicker than ever before. I'm just kicking myself for not contacting broadband internet providers much sooner!
If you're tired of all the frustrations associated with a dial-up connection, I recommend checking out some broadband internet providers right now. You won't believe the difference high-speed service makes.
